Kaboom is a Minecraft anarchy server providing players with free OP and creative.
Kaboom's entire server is open source, and is available on GitHub for anyone to use to run their own instance.
History
Kaboom was created on June 2, 2014 by MissingTexture. Initially, it used the Cuberite server software, before eventually switching to Scissors in 2018, and then Paper in 2024.

Like most other Minecraft servers, Kaboom has plugins which extend the functionality. A list is provided below, updated as of August 2026:

Additionally, the server uses an Ignite mod called PaperMixins to patch some exploits, and provide features such as encryption.
