Filter wars are conflicts between one or more filter systems. Often, they will result in chat spam, due to the triggering of self-care systems, depending on enforcement mode. These wars are a somewhat common occurrence on the server, with mewo (cxvqo), mqcore (mqdev) and Taskmaster being among the current usual suspects.
Historically, MrHonir would attempt to filter HBot with one of his bots, as he was often filtered by it, which could be considered as a prototype filter war.
Much like real wars, they rarely achieve their goals, though on Kaboom they only cause annoyance. Filter wars usually end when the parties in conflict decide to resolve the dispute in private, and as such the war rarely achieves anything.
