MCProtocolLib

MCProtocolLib is a Java Edition protocol library. It is designed completely differently from node-minecraft-protocol, so many Kaboom developers switching from node-minecraft-protocol to MCProtocolLib report a high learning curve, especially if they have had no prior experience writing Java code.
Programmers that only have experience writing JavaScript code may be better suited to using Kotlin, as Kotlin is backwards compatible with libraries developed for Java.

MCProtocolLib was originally developed by SteveIce10 (also known as Josh Moore) until it was eventually abandoned sometime in 2021. Eventually, it would be transferred to GeyserMC, the developers behind the Geyser plugin, on 23 September 2021.
