IP masking refers to a series of techniques used by Kaboom clones to preserve the anonymity of players by hiding their connecting IP address.
Methods
Network Address Translation (NAT)
This is the most commonly seen method and preferred by most clones, due to a configuration already being included with the Kaboom server framework.
