These are a set of Kaboom Wiki contribution guidelines (not rules!) that all contributors should attempt to follow.

• Vandalism is allowed, as long as it doesn't constitute removing factual information from any article or otherwise detracting from quality, and the vandalism is humorous in nature. Ideally, humorous sections of an otherwise serious should include the template {{Humor}} (example usage below). Additionally, such vandalism should not make the article more difficult to read. Your edit is much more likely to be reverted, and your account/IP possibly blocked on repitition if you do not follow this guideline.

• Links to other Wikis should be made using inter-wiki links, if Kaboom Wiki has them configured for that particular Wiki. For example, linking to Wikipedia pages should be done as follows: [[Wikipedia:Article_name|Article display name]].
• Only articles with, at the very least, a tangential relationship to the Kaboom server should be contributed to this Wiki. Rare exceptions may be made in the case that they are not documented well, or at all, by any other source. An example of such an exception is the Bungee-spoofing attack article.
• If possible and reasonable, claims should be backed up with citations. If you believe a claims should have a citation, but are unable to find something to cite, please use the {{Citation needed}} template so that other community members may attempt to find a citation. As this isn't Wikipedia, our citation requirements aren't as strict, article authors may choose to cite things like Discord message links if no other source is available. In the case that you cite a Discord message, a screenshot of that message should be made available close to the content.
• The usage of slurs and other expletives should be kept to an absolute minimum on the Wiki in an effort to maintain a professional tone similar to that of Wikipedia. There is no need to censor the use of profanity in quotes or screenshots containing their use.
