HBot is a bot developed by hhhzzzsss. It is the oldest bot still active[citation needed].
Source code release
On 25 November 2021, hhhzzzsss released a partial version of the HBot source code on GitHub. This release redacts multiple files:
- The main bot class
- Build scripts, required to compile the source code into a binary
- Exploits used to kick players or crash players
- The blacklist system
- The hashing system
- The locking system
- The iControlU detection system
Trivia
- A source code release has not been made since HBot 1.18 (20 March 2022)[2]
- chayapak successfully created a clone of HBot from this limited release
- When HBot was migrated from Maven to Gradle, source release generation was converted from a PowerShell script to a Gradle task
