It doesn't matter who made it. The person got originally nicknamed "1.12.2 guy" but doesn't officially go by any names.<br>
There is a toddler on kaboom by the name of "oneplusoneistwo" who calls them Taube for some unknown reason, probably due to brain damage (see [[oneplusoneistwo#Medical conditions]]).

The "mq" comes from the backend / bot architecture making use of mqtt for communication via a custom protocol.<br>
It doesn't matter much to the user, so players have nicknamed it "mqbot", "schizo bot", ">> bot" or "1.12.2 bot".<br>
The official project name is mqcore however.<br>

The bot also features a blacklist, which was originally made in a response to a war between [[Taskmaster]] and the creator of this bot.<br>
The bot has participated in [[filter wars]], both between [[Taskmaster]] and [[mewo]] (operated by [[cxvqo]]). This resulted in the development of the bot's blacklist feature.
