MrHonir is a Kaboom bot developer. He previously developed PikaBot and MeBot, but now develops noratbot.

History

2021-2023

He first joined Kaboom in 2021, and soon learned about the existence of bots. He started with Mineflayer, and although he knew about node-minecraft-protocol, he held off on entirely switching to it until 2026 as it seemed too complicated to him.

During this time, he posted a link to a YouTube video he recorded demonstrating the functionality of the spambot program DeathBot. It had support for proxies, although their efficacy has been the subject of some debate.

He also frequently boosted the KCB discord server.

He was rudely referred to as "MrHorny", among other things, and was blacklisted by HBot.

Later on, he began experimenting with the _client field (which is where Mineflayer stores the actual node-minecraft-protocol client it wraps around).

2024-2025

He left the community in 2024 to focus on his studies and work, and to prepare for upcoming exams. He briefly returned in 2025, but left once more to complete his exams.

During 2025, he worked on the backend of Roblox games after becoming interested in Roblox's Lua fork (LuaU) and the security implications of remote functions.
