RecycleBot is a Kaboom bot developed by MorganAnkan with contributions from other players.

Development started in 2019 when there were only a small amount of bots. Bots at the time included HBot, QuadBot, Ac_bot and Hoshi's bot.

RecycleBot's source code has been leaked multiple times, and it was used as the base for the bots of newbie programmers. However, only very early versions of the bot were leaked, so the code quality was considerably worse.

Historically, RecycleBot's bruhify command was abused by spambots.

A rewrite by Allink was in progress, but it was left unfinished.

It is occasionally started from time to time, but such instances are sporadic and it is no longer 24/7.
