Nuking is the act of intentionally making the server unplayable for all players, including yourself, distinct from whitelisting. Freeze exploits and crash exploits that result in entity or chat spam are sometimes referred to as nuking, as well.
Such incidents were much more common before the patching of command loops by PaperMixins, however as they now require the implementation of a command core they are now less common.
