FastAsyncWorldEdit (FAWE) is a fork of the WorldEdit plugin, used to make large changes to the world with commands. It allows players to fill regions with blocks, create spheres, copy and paste sections of the world, and more.

Usage on the server

As the plugin can be used to create huge spheres in a single command, new players on the server will often run commands to create spheres of destructive blocks, most commonly air, lava, and tnt.

Dumping server logs

The plugin allows players to dump the server logs through the debugging command "/fawe debugpaste". This is most commonly used to obtain the commands executed inside of command blocks, thus allowing players to obtain exploits ran by other players.

Crashing the server

Due to FAWE's main goal of performing enormous changes in an incredibly short amount of time, the plugin ends up falling short on stability. This results in the plugin containing various bugs that allow players to crash the server, such as a race condition on removing block entities, which results in the server occasionally crashing shortly after someone removes a large section of command blocks.
