ChipmunkMod
ChipmunkMod is a Fabric mod made by Chipmunk in 2023, for usage in Kaboom and Kaboom Clones.
It contained features which, at the time, were not present in any public mods, such as a command core, support for generating hashes for some bots and a rudimentary self-care system.
It was abandoned by Chipmunk and was not updated past Minecraft 1.20.1.
ChomeNS fork
At some point, the player chayapak forked the mod, creating what the community deemed the "ChomeNS fork of ChipmunkMod". The fork introduced features like support for changing your chat format (by sending your messages through Minecraft's tellraw command), playing note block music and a system for running Lua code in-game.
This resulted in other players creating forks of that fork, each containing more questionably-written code, resulting in a structure that is somewhat reminiscent of PaperMC's ecosystem.
